Kaviari caviar  & Beluga vodka luxury snack

The traditional fine wine Bordeaux negociant Mähler-Besse currently has particularly luxurious snacks on offer: a tiny gift box of Kaviari caviar & Beluga vodka.

The handbag format box contains 15 tasty grams of caviar and 5 cl of the delicate Siberian Beluga vodka. Loved it!

Château La Marzelle 2008

Château La Marzelle is a Saint Emilion Grand Cru which counts 17 hectares of vineyards mainly planted with merlot (80%) but also with Cabernet Franc (13%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (7%). Each vine is individually cared for. The vineyard works are carried out manually in order to obtain the best possible results. In the cellar the musts of each parcel are individually fermented and carefully elaborated.

Deep red with violet hues, brilliant. Very elegant nose , complex showing aromas of black fruit such as blue- and blackberries, spicy, some liquorice and mocha. Some floral hints. Very fresh attack a mineral wine with silky tannins, very well balanced with a long mineral finish.

Graveum 2000

Vieux Château Gaubert is a wine estate situated in the Graves appellation. Its 18th century building is located right in the heart of the tiny village of Portets and used be belong to the Gaubert family. Abandoned, it was entirely renovated by its current owner Dominique Haverlan.

I absolutely adored the châteaux special cuvée Gravéum 2000, which is produced in a tiny quantity of only 1200 bottles per year.  The name Gravéum recalls the wine’s origins, its extraordinary gravelly terroir. Even the label pays a tribute to the soil, as real tiny gravels are pasted on it.

Ruby red with signs of evolution. The nose is terribly seducing with beautiful aromas of blackberries and spices, a little bit smoky and mineral. This wine literally explodes your taste buds! It is full-bodied, has an incredible structure and silky tannins. It is very balances and still youthful with a great potential. A fantastic wine!
